Electric logistics: The road to launch of all-purpose electric B2B delivery vehicle just got smoother. On Monday, the SEC approved the Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp. acquisition of Canoo, an electronic vehicle company that doesn’t see its vehicles but sells memberships so drivers can access them on full time, at will, basis. The deal will see Canoo become a public company. It has also allowed the company to push forward the release sate of its B2B delivery vehicle to December 17, 2020.

Expanding Services: This week Cisco has declared its intention to acquire both Sli.do and IMImobile PLC. Slido is a Q&A and polling app designed to engage meeting and event participants. The app will become part of Cisco Webex platform. IMImobile provides a multi-channel customer interaction management software suite that enables constant connection between businesses and their clients through enhanced interactive channels whether social, messaging or voice.

Hypercharged marketer management: Adobe has completed its acquisition of Workfront, a work management platform for marketers. The platform supports marketing teams to strategize, create, deliver and track campaigns whether on-site or working remotely. The two companies already share over 1,000 shared customers, including Under Armour, Nordstrom, Prudential Financial, T-Mobile and The Home Depot.
