Not only this, but your brand can now also be marketed globally, with Instagram being a social media platform that used by people all over the world. Taking your business internationally can allow it to grow to great heights and become popular at a faster rate. This is because you have more access to your desired target audience and are not limited to just your local area and the demographic which resides there.

Instagram may just seem like a place for pretty faces and glamorous lifestyles but it is actually so much more than that and it has so much more to offer on the business side of things. Instagram has plenty of tools for brands and businesses to take advantage of to maximise their marketing and reach, and ultimately increasing the sales your business makes. 

One of the more popular tools or options available to business it the ability to sponsor a post, meaning that a post will show in in your target demographics feed, regardless of whether they follow you or not. This is a fantastic way to get new potential followers to notice you. This could end up being a bit costly, so another great too to take advantage of are hashtags. Completely free to use, hashtags are keywords that follow a pound symbol, and allow users to search a niche that they are looking for and find everything that was posted with the exact hashtag. 

All of this leads up to the increase of sales because, ultimately, you are allowing more people to see, and become interested in your brand. 

Create website traffic

Following on from the previous idea, having more followers will ultimately lead to more traffic to your website. This can only happen if you give your followers a means of easy access to you website though. 

The best way to do this is to link it in you bio when creating your profile. By linking your website in your bio, you make it much easier for people to find your business or brand and make them more inclined to want to visit it because there is no hassle involved. 

Become more relatable

In the end Instagram is a social media platform and its primary purpose it to entertain people. So many people don’t just want to see your products and what you have to offer, but they are also interested in the behind the scenes. They want to see a lifestyle and cohesiveness. Instagram allows you to do just this by having multiple forms of posting, from stories, to reels, to just regular old feed posts, giving the user the ultimate experience.
