Happy first day of school! Here in Ontario, we do it old-school and students don’t go back to class until they day after Labour Day. Learning, though, happens all year long and takes many forms.

The expansion of apprenticeship programs in an international drive to attract more young people to careers in the skilled trades is starting to gain traction in other industries too. Today, Denver-based entrepreneur Andy Seth announced the launch of his own apprenticeship programs at Flow, his content marketing business, and Ravience, his customer service business.

The programs will run through, Apprentix, an online apprenticeship management portal.

“I want to inspire other modern leaders to take their existing training programs, make some tweaks, and turn them into apprenticeships,” said Seth. “There are so many incredible business benefits to implementing this structure – including diversifying your candidate pool, lowering recruiting costs, and developing your employees’ skills to your company’s exact needs.”
