Dream Legacy Foundation : Community foundations for Black entrepreneurs in SW Ontario

With a new community hub and accelerator space that includes accommodation for Black entrepreneurs near Pearson airport, The DLF is expanding its services and offerings to the Black entrepreneurial community in SW Ontario.

The community’s new 3 month accelerator includes $5000 upon successful completion of the program.

Mentors inclyde Lola Adeyeni and other entrepreneurial leaders in the Black community. The hub has been operational for a few years and gradually expanding its services, supporting entrepreneurs with  fundraising and scale. “We’re very focused on black entrepreneurs in trades – construction in particular, and proud to partner with Ontario Tech University,” said project lead Oghenemine “Mimi” Jakire, “especially for Black founders in tech.”

A coworking space, Dream Hub, in Mississauga is located near the airport + includes accommodation.
